Wheelchair ramp helps “Rev. Annie” continue ministering in Greenburgh, NY
GREENBURGH, New York — When 87-year-old Annie Bovian developed arthritis and then declined to get knee surgery, she knew there would be ramifications. But, thanks to The Fuller Center for Housing of Greater New York City, she now has a ramp-ification that allows her to continue going out to counsel and serve others in the community. “It changed my life,” said Bovian, who earned her Masters of Divinity degree from Harvard University and who now counsels those in need throughout the community while also advising incarcerated women.
