Volunteer with The Fuller Center for a ticket to Disney!

As of the first of the year, anyone who volunteers with The Fuller Center for a day will be eligible for a free one-day ticket to a Disney resort!

Disney is giving back to volunteers with a campaign called Give a Day, Get a Disney Day! Tickets will be given to the first 1,000,000 people to volunteer or until Dec. 15, 2010–whichever comes first.

The Hands-On network is partnering with Disney to manage volunteer opportunities. The Fuller Center will post volunteer opportunities through their site. Volunteers can find the posted opportunities through Disneyparks.go.com/celebrate and sign up for a day of volunteering there. Once The Fuller Center has approved those hours, volunteers will receive a voucher for a ticket.

The Hollywood Fuller Center for Housing is already working to get volunteers excited in their area.

"We love the fact that Disney is so gracious to offer such an amazing opportunity to help us create new homes for people less fortunate," Todd Christian, who is organizing the new covenant partner, said.

But the volunteering can be done with any participating Fuller Center covenant partner in the United States.

These covenant partners are already signed up:

Americus-Sumter County, Ga.
Greater Atlanta, Ga.
Greater Grand Rapids, Mich.
Greater Kansas City, Mo.
Greater San Antonio, Tex.
Louisville, Ky.
New Jersey Pines, N.J.
Northern Virginia, Va.
Northwest Louisiana, La.
Yalobusha County, Miss.

So volunteer in your own town and schedule a trip to Disney! If you don’t see the covenant partner in your area on that list, you can find the information here to contact them directly.
