VivaCell-MTS funds 100th home in Armenia though partnership with Fuller Center

Armenia’s leading telecommunications provider — VivaCell-MTS — has taken a keen interest in the work of The Fuller Center for Housing Armenia over the years, often sending teams of its workers and leaders to volunteer alongside families building safe homes in Armenia.

It also has become Fuller Center Armenia’s No. 1 source of funding. This week, a team from VivaCell-MTS was on hand to help the Gevorgyan family work on its new home. But this was not just another home funded by VivaCell-MTS — it was the 100th funded through the partnership.

“Today is a special day: The housing program and our successful cooperation continues,” said VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian. “It is both a pleasure and a matter of concern. This program solves a major problem for already the 100th family. However, we are most concerned with the fact that there are still families who are deprived of homes. And they need to be supported too.”

By the end of this year, the partnership is expected to have funded 134 Fuller Center homes in Armenia.
