VivaCell-MTS/Fuller Center of Armenia partnership marking 200th home together
Since 2008, The Fuller Center for Housing of Armenia has helped about 800 families have simple, decent places to live — many of those families moving out of converted metal shipping containers — called “domiks” — that were intended to be temporary shelters after the 1988 earthquake. A quarter of those families have been helped thanks to a partnership between telecommunications company VivaCell-MTS and Fuller Center of Armenia.
Fittingly, the partnership is marking its 200-home milestone by helping yet another family move out of a 193-square-foot shipping container and into a good home. Asbaraz has a report on the Hasoyan family in the Mrgastan village of Armavir region and how they are benefiting from this milestone.
