VIDEO: Legacy Build volunteers illustrate Millard Fuller’s Theology of the Hammer

OPELIKA, Alabama — It was an amazing week of work at the 2023 Millard Fuller Legacy Build as volunteers from across the nation worked alongside three deserving families to help them build simple, decent places to live. As Fuller Center for Housing President points out in this video featuring many faces from the build, this illustrates the lessons in the New Testament’s book of James in which we are instructed to put our faith into action. These volunteers and supporters of the build practiced what Millard Fuller called “The Theology of the Hammer.”
