IN THE NEWS: Cincinnati students work in Spartanburg during break
(Spartanburg Herald-Journal) A group of eight University of Cincinnati students spending their spring break working with The Fuller Center for Housing of Spartanburg, S.C., are featured in a Spartanburg Herald-Journal article. Writer Trevor Anderson reports on the group from Serve Beyond Cincinnati that is working on the home of Anna Pitts and her three children.
“I can’t describe it,” the article quotes Pitts as saying. “They are wonderful. I have so much respect for them. They could’ve gone on vacation and instead they came here. As soon as they walked through the door, they were ready to go. I can’t thank them enough.”
