Special event coming up in Macon, GA!

GEICO and The Fuller Center invite to you to join the Middle Georgia Community in welcoming the 2010 Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure by participating in an afternoon of cycling and an evening of fun at the Cox Capitol Theatre on Friday, July 23. Participants will enjoy a Dutch-treat dinner, a brief program presented by the Bike Adventure cyclists and a showing of the film "Breaking Away."

·      Join the Ride – 3:00 p.m. at GEICO Office Park, 4295 Ocmulgee East Blvd. Bring your bike to the GEICO office and cycle along with the Bike Adventure team into downtown Macon (about 5 miles). Your presence will show middle Georgia’s support for these cyclists as they continue on their 2,500 mile tour to raise awareness of funds to help support decent, affordable housing. 

·      Welcome the Riders – 4:00 p.m.  at Cox Capitol, 382 Second Street. GEICO Fleet cars will escort the riders into downtown Macon, Join us at Second and Cherry Streets.

·      Dinner, Program & Cycling Movie – 6:30 p.m.  at Cox Capitol Theatre. Enjoy dinner at the theatre, be entertained by the cyclists’ stories and watch a 1979 cycling movie about “growing up and settling down.”

·      Bon Voyage Ride – 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 24 at Christ Episcopal Church, 582 Walnut Street. Bring your bike to Christ Episcopal Church and cycle along with the group for a few miles, or all the way to Americus, Ga., where you can help build someone a decent, affordable house.
