Sequoia Partnership Fuller Center for Housing

P.O. Box 51

Christiansburg, VA 24068

Chairman: Justin Summers

The goal of our partnership is to create pathways into home ownership for displaced families who have resettled in the Blacksburg, Virginia area. Blacksburg, located in southwest Virginia, is the home of Virginia Tech. As a college town our community is incredibly welcoming and presents wonderful opportunities for displaced families who are searching for a new place to call home. However, the cost of housing often prohibits people who benefit from all that Blacksburg offers from owning a home in a place they have come to know as home. Our goal is to remove the barriers to home ownership that prevent low-income families from the security of owning a home. We will entertain the possibility of new construction; however, based on the availability and cost of land in our area we anticipate primarily working to buy existing homes that need renovation and repair.

As a new partnership, our most pressing need is for donations. Our goal is to generate financial support through committed annual giving; however, we will be happy to accept one-time donations and any financial support that is offered. Thank you for your interest in supporting our project and please feel free to reach out!
