San Antonio

The Fuller Center for Greater San Antonio located in the second largest city in the state of Texas, has a population of over 1.3 million. With a disaproportionate share of distressed older housing stock in San Antonio, the Fuller Center of Greater San Antonio will look for ways to work toward bringing the best possible energy efficiency improvements to the homes they repair. The goal of the San Antonio Fuller Center is to assist older adults through the Greater Blessing Box program who continue to live in their homes but can not afford to purchase badly needed repairs through conventional means. The Fuller Center of Greater San Antonio will serve as facilitators, volunteers, community organizers among churches, businesses and schools in order to spread the word to help address the problem of sub-standard housing in an effective manner.

Latest Projects:

San Antonio Fuller Center recently completed a wheelchair ramp for an elderly gentleman that had not been outside of his home in 3 months. Other Greater Blessing projects include clean up on Santa Barbara Street and re-roofing another home.
