Professional handyman service helps Fuller Center of Middle Georgia battle blight

MACON, Ga. — A local Mr. Handyman franchise owned by Jean and Bill Green allowed their entire crew to spend two full days renovating the home of Bobbie Ballard, recently widowed in Macon. Renovations included door replacement, siding replacement and painting, floor replacement, removal of a hazardous wheelchair ramp, replacement of light fixtures, porch railing repair, interior wall repair and painting. More than anything, the work repaired Ms. Ballard’s spirit and confident. It also drew praise from neighbors. WMGT-41, a local NBC affiliate, caught up with the Greens to find out what motivates them to give back to people like Ms. Ballard.
