President David Snell statement on the passing of former board chair Bill Lee
AMERICUS, Georgia — Fuller Center for Housing President David Snell released a statement today on the passing of former National Retail Hardware Association President and former Fuller Center Chairman of the Board Bill Lee:
One of the great blessings of the work we do is the opportunity it gives to meet and work with truly wonderful people, people of a generous spirit who give so freely of their time and resources. Bill Lee was one of those people. Bill passed away last week after a long battle with cancer.
Bill came to the Fuller Center when he was president of the National Retail Hardware Association and opened many doors for us with tool and equipment manufacturers. He joined our board of directors in 2013 and served as chair from 2016 through 2019, providing steady and thoughtful leadership.
Bill was a partner and a friend, and his wise counsel will be missed.
