We work primarily within the limits of Oxford and Lafayette County. We work to construct affordable housing with sponsors and volunteers from the community. Low-income families selected for home ownership contribute at least 500 hours of “sweat equity” and assume all responsibility for mortgages when they take possession of the property. Mortgage payments on a three-bedroom home are generally less than rent for a two-bedroom apartment.
