NSCS – Volunteer Opportunities
Our mission is to end poverty housing. With more than a billion people living in poverty housing globally, we need all the sharp young minds and eager hands we can get!
Love to travel … with a purpose? Get a group together to travel the world to our Global Builders host locations in places like Peru, Ghana, Nepal, and Haiti — or sign up on your own with one of our open teams.
Spend 1-2 weeks helping to build homes and learning from your immersion experience. We’re one of the most affordable options around. Learn more.
Experience an alternative break at any time of the year working side-by-side with a local community-driven effort. Most trips are 5-7 days in which your group will bond together as you help to build or repair homes. Learn more.
We also hold special builds for which you can sign up as an individual. Learn more. Either way, it’s a great way to see the country and serve.
Some go the whole way, while others join for one or more week-long segments, but together they all form a tight community. This event has been growing quickly since its start in 2008, with more than 60 riders participating in summer 2014.
We also have a separate 1-week ride down the gorgeous Natchez Trace Parkway every spring. Learn more.
Awareness and fundraising are two of our biggest needs. Consider organizing an event on your campus such as a walk/run, talent show or sleep-out, or taking up a collection at an existing event like a soccer game.
We’ll stand behind you 100% in supporting your efforts and help ensure your work makes a real difference for families around the world.
