IN THE NEWS: NRHA grant to help disabled veteran, wife in Maryland

(Hardware Retailing magazine) A disabled military veteran and his wife in Maryland will have a safer home thanks to a grant from the North American Retail Hardware Association. The NRHA awarded a $1,000 grant to The Fuller Center for Housing in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The funding will pay to replace or repair a disintegrating front porch on the home where an older couple lives, says Arthur Stroud, executive director for the Prince George’s County Fuller Center.
