ABOUT US: Located in the Ozark Region of Arkansas, the Fuller Center for Housing of North Central Arkansas covers Brown, Marion, Newton, Searcy and Carroll counties — an area of great contrasts. There are pockets of wealth and abject poverty. Many of the poverty-stricken citizens live in rural areas. The poverty level in the five-county area ranges from 11% to 24% with an estimated 16,000 residences living below the poverty level. Initially, the Fuller Center for Housing of North Central Arkansas will focus on rehabilitation and renovation of existing homes. Collaborative Mission Partners are the Harrison Housing Agency, Entergy (the local power utility) and the North Central Arkansas Association of Builders.
