Celebrate The Fuller Center, New Orleans Style!

You’re invited to celebrate with us! Please join The Fuller Center for Housing August 6 and 7 as it hosts a series of special events in New Orleans honoring the 5th anniversary of The Fuller Center, the end of the 2,500-mile Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure and the dedication of a home rebuilt by the Northshore Fuller Center for Delores Black, who lost her home to Hurricane Katrina. Friday, August 6th
  • Build day: 9:00 a.m. – Cyclists will do final landscaping and touch ups to Mama Black’s house in Belle Chasse, LA.  
  • Home dedication: 7:00 p.m. – Northshore FCH will dedicate Mama Black’s house. Following the dedication, the group will celebrate with home cooking at Black’s new house.
Saturday, August 7th
  • Final ride day and awards ceremony for the third-annual Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure
  • JAMMIN’ FOR FULLER: 8:00 p.m. – This benefit concert sponsored by Aaron’s will raise funds for The Fuller Center for Housing to build and rehab homes for low-income families. The lineup features legendary musicians Charmaine Neville, The Rebirth Brass Band, Germaine Bazzle and several others. Doors open at 8 p.m. at the Howlin’ Wolf. Tickets are $15 at the Howlin’ Wolf’s website or at the door. Free red beans and rice will be served and a cash bar is available.
