NEPAL EARTHQUAKE UPDATE: Building is under way, President David Snell reports
An update on the situation in Nepal from Fuller Center for Housing President David Snell:
"A great deal of time and money will be spent over the next few months assessing the situation in Nepal. We got our assessment done early: Houses built with reinforced concrete block, like our Fuller Center homes, stood, while those built of un-reinforced clay bricks fell down. Now that that’s done, we’re starting to rebuild — we have four new houses under construction in Nepal and need to build many, many more. Please consider a generous gift to our Disaster Rebuilding Fund so that we can get Nepali families back into simple, decent and solid homes as quickly as possible." — David Snell, President, The Fuller Center for Housing
