
More than 100 Mercer University students help spruce up Macon’s Napier Heights area
Mercer University has long been one of The Fuller Center’s partners in helping build and repair homes with Mercer students having traveled to faraway covenant partners in such places as India and Peru, as well as working right in their backyard with their local covenant partner, The Fuller Center for Housing of Macon, Georgia. On Saturday, more than 100 Mercer students worked with The Fuller Center of Macon in the Napier Heights area, a blighted area not far from the school where The Fuller Center of Macon and other entities in the city are teaming up to improve living conditions.
