Millard Fuller’s “Theology of the Hammer” inspires new song, video

Addressing volunteers at the very first Millard Fuller Legacy Build in Fuller’s hometown of Lanett, Alabama, back in 2009, Fuller Center President David Snell was thanking volunteers for preaching the “Theology of the Hammer” — namely spreading the Gospel and God’s love by putting faith into action.

While telling everyone that people do not always listen when we tell them about the Gospel, but they take notice of a house build to honor the Lord through The Fuller Center’s ministry.

“Every home that we build is a sermon of God’s love,” he emphasized.

Now, with a little help from modern technology and some extra lyrics from Vice President of Communications Chris Johnson, that message has a powerful and energetic life through the new gospel song “Every Home We Build,” which you can hear in the video above.
