Man’s dying wish is to repair home he shares with his wife in West Point, Georgia
(UPDATE: Volunteers with The Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure helped fulfill this wish with a build day in June.)
West Point, Georgia resident Paul Truitt is dying of Stage 4 lung and kidney cancer. He knows there is no way around it. Yet, he is determined that his house will live on and provide a comfortable, safe home for his wife, Irene.
Thanks to a collaboration between West Point Mayor Steve Tramell and the Chattahoochee Fuller Center Project led by Kim Roberts, his home’s roof has been repaired, and The Fuller Center is looking forward to making more repairs as donations pour in to help a beloved man.
Check the link below for details, and watch the video to see Paul and Irene, as well as Tramell and Roberts discuss this emotional project.
