VIDEO: Louisville's Give a Day Week culminates with home dedication

The Fuller Center for Housing of Louisville worked on five formerly vacant houses as part of the Mayor’s Give a Day Week of service in the community that drew more than 100,000 people to volunteer in various projects and efforts across the city. Mayor Greg Fischer was on hand Friday to dedicate one of the once-vacant homes for Connie Cash and her two young children. The house is adjacent to The Fuller Center for Housing of Louisville’s new headquarters in the Shawnee neighborhood of the city where The Fuller Center works.

Stay tuned this week for more on the Save a House/Make a Home initiative that is transforming lives and neighborhoods in Louisville.
