ABOUT US:

Lake Providence is a town in and the parish seat of East Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana. The population was 5,104 at the 2000 census but there has been a decline by more than 20 percent to 3,991 along with more than 49% of the population below the poverty rate. With a declining housing stock and very little affordable quality housing for low income families, the Providence Fuller Center will have plenty of work.
