IN THE NEWS: Build bolstered by Indiana governor, Michael Jackson's mother

(Chicago Sun-Times, Northwest Indiana Times) After visiting The Fuller Center’s Jackson Street of Dreams Build in Gary, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence noted, "This is a great project to restore what is in my mind one of the most famous streets in America." He made the comment after meeting with Katherine Jackson, who raised her talented family on Jackson Street, including the late King of Pop Michael Jackson. Pence, Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson and Fuller Center President David Snell said that Mrs. Jackson is happy to see hope coming to the neighborhood that remains dear to her heart.
