IN THE NEWS: Pickell Family Foundation hosts wine tasting to benefit Fuller Center

(Sun-Times) Orren Pickell, CEO of Orren Pickell Building Group and founder of the philanthropic Pickell Family Foundation held a wine tasting benefit last week to support the work of The Fuller Center for Housing in Waukegan, Illinois, just north of Chicago. "If you want to give someone dignity and hope in life, you need to start with a roof over their head," said Pickell, who expressed appreciation for The Fuller Center’s work, especially the Save a House/Make a Home initiative that gives vacant houses new life as refurbished homes.
