IN THE NEWS: North Carolina Fuller Center's Greater Blessing work highlighted

(Pilot Mountain News) Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, is known by most people for two things — the amazing scenery (especially in the fall) and as the inspiration for the Mayberry neighbor of "Mount Pilot" on "The Andy Griffith Show." It is both, indeed. But like many small, rural communities, there is an enormous need for house repairs. And with 17 percent of people in the community living below the poverty line, the work of the Surry/Stokes Fuller Center for Housing is desperately needed.
