IN THE NEWS: FCH Northwest Louisiana breaks ground on 50th home

(KTLA-TV) More than 50 volunteers turned out Saturday to help The Fuller Center of Northwest Louisiana raise the walls for its 50th new home build. The Katy Build 2 honors Katy Watkins, a service-minded teenager who was killed in a 2006 car crash. (Read more about Katy Watkins here.) The new home will go to Navy veteran Lonnie Carmack and his wife, Rosalyn. The house is being constructed in Bossier City, Louisiana, in partnership with the Carmack family and Asbury United Methodist Church.
