Homeless man gets his own place
Tenor Young, 25, who works two jobs and also gives piano lessons, has lived in the basement of Emmanuel Baptist Church on West Broadway since September.
But Young, who in the past has been homeless, is ready to move into his newly renovated house on Boston Court in the Shawnee neighborhood. The small, one-story house with the gabled roof was built in 1926 and has been renovated by volunteers with the nonprofit Fuller Center for Housing of Louisville.
