The Fuller Center for Housing of the Chattahoochee Valley dedicates three new homes to conclude a Millard Fuller Legacy Build in Opelika, Alabama. These are the final home dedications for long-time Executive Director Kim Roberts, who passed the baton to long-time Robin Pierre, who became a Fuller Center homeowner partner herself in 2016. The Fuller Center breaks ground in Americus, Georgia, on The Big Event Build — a partnership project with Georgia Southwestern State University honoring Rosalynn and Jimmy Carter. The project will involve hundreds of volunteers, including GSW students, athletes and staff. Complete coverage here

Fuller Center receives $500,000 grant from Citi Foundation to build 60 new homes in Apaneca, El Salvador, where Global Builders teams are serving. Story
OCTOBER
NFL veteran, sports personality and co-star of ESPN’s College Gameday Pat McAfee donates $100,000 to disaster recovery efforts in western North Carolina in the wake of Hurricane Helene. He will make two more $100,000 donations in the next three months. The funds go to the Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders, who quickly establish three volunteer host sites in the region. Story
