High schooler holds FCH fundraiser, makes promotional video

Walk for Walls – Macon, Ga. On Saturday, Nov. 14, Macon high school senior Burgess Brown, is holding a fund-raising event to collect money for the Fuller Center El Salvador. He was inspired to become more involved after a trip he took there with the Global Builders program over the summer. Below, view a promotional video Brown put together for the event. Interested people will take part in the walk at 9 a.m. at the Georgia Industrial Children’s Home. They are encouraged to ask for $10 sponsorships for each mile they walk. Or, they can pay $10 to register. The timing of his fund raiser couldn’t be better, with the devastation left behind in El Salvador after a recent tropical storm. Read more about that here. Read a news story about the event here for more information.
