Haiti update: New partnerships, plans to build
The Fuller Center’s Haiti recovery effort is moving quickly forward thanks to new partnerships and donations.

Newest initiatives:
- The Fuller Center is teaming up with Lazarian World Homes to build earthquake-, fire- and hurricane-resistant homes made of rebar, concrete and styrofoam blocks. One 16’x16′ home is $3,000. Learn more about the partnership and see designs here.
- To keep up with funding for the long-term intiative, the Fuller Center is inviting every church in the United States to sponsor at least one home. Read more about the challenge here.
- A group from The Fuller Center including El Salvador Country Director Michael Bonderer just returned from Haiti. They traveled via a jet chartered by actor Sean Penn and helped Penn and his team of doctors distribute medical aid and rebuild a school. Stay tuned for a new story to be posted soon. Because of the immense interest across the nation in helping Haiti, support for the The Fuller Center’s plans continue to grow. Nearly 300 people have already expressed their interest in volunteering on a Global Builders trip to Haiti. To sign up, click here.
