God's Fingerprints

by Steve Hopkins

Wow. These people are crazy in an awesome sort of way. I have only been along since Missoula and I don’t think I’ve had more than 3 consecutive hours of sleep. My diet is all upside down. I had more snicker doodles the other day in ten minutes than I’ve had in the past ten months. I am eating anything I can get my hands on and it’s great.

Dave started us out today with the devotional message to have an "attitude of gratitude" and today’s route made that easy. 54 miles on the flat, fast, incredibly scenic paved trail of the Coeur d’ Alenes. As a friend of mine likes to say, the day had God’s fingerprints all over it. Tomorrow will be longer and hotter so the test will be greater, but from what I’ve seen, this group will rise to the occasion with both gratitude and perseverance.
