
IN THE NEWS: Two Global Builders, their companies sponsor well in Ghana
(Frederick News-Post) Rick White and Brian Flegel worked with The Fuller Center’s Global Builders program in November when they went with a team of 17 people from Frederick Church of the Brethren to build homes in Ghana. They took their help for the Agomeda village there a step further by raising $7,000 to build a well so that people will be able to move into the homes and so that the village can continue to grow. The companies they work for — Clark Construction Group LLC of Bethesda, Maryland, and Schneider Electric of Rockville, Maryland — agree that sponsoring the well in Ghana was a good story of partnership on professional and personal levels.
