Volunteers at Clear Lake Presbyterian Church are housed.in two large rooms, one for males and one for females. Showers and bathrooms are nearby. There is a very nice gathering area with a large screen TV and games. The kitchen and dining area are located on the first floor. We can house 25 volunteers at Clear Lake.
We expect most of the worksites to be within 10 miles of your housing.
Note: Our goal is to fill our bunks to capacity, so depending on the size of your team, you may have the opportunity to get to know another group of equally passionate volunteers.
Our church partners are providing free room and board to the volunteers. The registration fee ($100) is used to cover miscellaneous volunteer expenses as well as construction expenses. Checks should be made payable to “Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders” and sent to:

You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer with Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders. Volunteers under 18 years old are permitted to work on the construction site, but must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian is required at all times. You must also complete our “Minor Permission Consent Form” linked from our registration page.
Our church hosts are providing dinner Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (if you’re still around on Friday night there may be leftovers, etc.). We look at Wednesday night as your opportunity to sample the local cuisine. Each weekday, we also provide a cold breakfast and bag lunch (self-prepared).
Webster Presbyterian Church will host the orientation dinner on Sunday evening, 6 p.m.
Note: In order to maintain compliance with the City of Houston regulations, only currently Certified City of Houston Food Service Managers may have full access to the Clear Lake kitchen. When there is not a certified food service manager present, teams will be limited to the outer kitchen. Volunteers are expected to support the cooks as required.

Yes, the mandatory Sunday night orientation is accomplished in conjunction with the 6 p.m. dinner.
Absolutely! Daily devotions and sharing our stories from the day are important parts of our ministry.
The closest airport is Houston Hobby (HOU). We’re unable to provide airport pick-ups.
No, you’ll have to provide your own transportation.
Yes, wi-fi is available at all locations.
Plan to sleep on a cot or bunkbed with a mattress, so bring a sleeping bag or linens. We have pillows. Bring your own towel.
We’ll be doing rehabs — homes flooded with 2-4 feet of water and now gutted. Expect the work to be primarily interior. So we’ll be insulating, drywalling, floors and doors, cabinets and vanities, trimming, painting, etc.
Yes, bring everything you can. We’re rebuilding our inventory. As a minimum bring your personal items: tape measure, utility knife, hammer, pencil, tool belt, and gloves. If you’re driving and have room, consider bringing a miter saw and portable table saw.
So far we have not located a clinic, soup kitchen, or food bank that needs volunteers.
There are numerous hotels in the area if you’re more comfortable there.
Yes. We can provide you a list of local restaurants and attractions upon your arrival.
We have a special t-shirt for our Texas mission. Your registration fee includes one t- shirt; additional t-shirts will be $15 per shirt.
We power, water, and sewer hook-ups available at a church partner campsite for $20/night (Hitchcock, TX—less than 10 miles from most work sites). Call Lyn Wilson, 346- 763-7499 (disaster-rebuilders@fullercenter.org), for availability before registering.
