RECENT NEWS
The Emporia-Greensville Fuller Center for Housing, Inc. celebrated its Building on Faith, Twenty-ninth Anniversary on September 25, 2025. The attendance was outstanding as our Speaker, Dr. Yardley Farquharson, shared her experience of homelessness as a child and how significant it is for children to have affordable, safe, and secure housing. Dr. Farquharson confirmed our enthusiastic belief that a child who grows up in a decent and safe home might just change the world someday.
Our program was well represented from our Community Leaders and Church Community. We were blessed to have several of our previous homeowner recipients present who explained how truly it was a blessing to received their home. Our hearts were full of joy to have played such a small part of their life.
President George Pugh was our Master of Ceremony as well as our Musician. Board members showed up with a sense of pride and humbleness to share on such a meaningful Organization to help our Community.
Our general contractor and support team members were present and have been a source of support from day one.
We had a feast at the end of our program and sang Give of Your Best to the Master. We pray God’s blessings as we continue to make a difference in our Community to those who are less fortunate that we are, remembering to always give Glory to God for the many things that he has done, is doing and will do. Many thanks to The Fuller Center for Housing.
