Wittenberg University student writes of how tornado shook up service week

Danny Barren

Danny Barren knew spending his spring break serving alongside fellow Wittenberg University students with the Chattahoochee Fuller Center Project would be a challenge — especially because he was coming off of knee surgery and was just beginning to get back on his feet. But when an EF-4 struck nearby Beauregard, Alabama, just after the group arrived in Lanett, Alabama, he and the group would get a whole new perspective on challenges. Barren has penned an outstanding piece for Wittenberg University about the lessons gleaned from that service week, and you can read at the link below. It’s well worth your time!

  • What a wonderful article Danny wrote! I was riveted as I read it. God bless him for the week he spent in service to The Fuller Center and to mankind. What the world needs is more kind hearts and helping hands. Very inspiring article.
