City to provide more lots for Fuller Center homes in Bossier City, Louisiana

(First Katy Build dedication, 2011)

The city council of Bossier City, Louisiana, has passed a measure to facilitate the donation of five adjudicated lots to the Northwest Louisiana Fuller Center for Housing to build more homes in honor of three friends — Katy Watkins, 16, Molly Reed, 15, and Emily Perdue, 16 — who were killed in a car accident in 2006. The girls had a heart for serving others, and three homes already have been built in the area, starting with the “Katy Build” in 2011. The city’s support will facilitate more Fuller Center construction in partnership with Asbury United Methodist Church, First Bossier and Simple Church.
