Chattahoochee Fuller Center Project finishing homes 19 and 20 in tornado recovery effort
After building 18 homes in response to the devastation tornado that struck Lee County, Alabama, in March of 2019 — including 11 during the 2019 Millard Fuller Legacy Build, the Chattahoochee Fuller Center Project is now on the verge of completing two more with the help of churches, dedicated volunteers, and MEND, the charitable arm of East Alabama Medical Center.
One home is for Carol Dean, whose husband David was killed in the tornado. The other is for the Bohannans, a young couple who lost everything in the storm. The homes are expected to be dedicated next month.
