Celebrate the legendary Kim Roberts by volunteering at her final Legacy Build as Chattahoochee Fuller Center Project’s Executive Director

LANETT, Alabama — Kim Roberts has served as Executive Director of the Chattahoochee Fuller Center Project for the past 15 years, a run during which it has become The Fuller Center’s top builder of new homes in the United States — 75 total, with two more soon to be dedicated in Millard Fuller’s hometown of Lanett.

Later this year, she will be handing the reins to Robin Pierre, who has worked closely alongside her for eight years. Roberts says she will be able to spend more time with her grandchildren while also focusing on family partnering with the Chattahoochee Fuller Center Project, a role in which she first began working — and a role in which she is beloved by homeowner families, especially the children who run to her yelling “Miss Kim! Miss Kim!” whenever she comes around. And she’ll be able to come around much more often.

But first Roberts is in charge of her final Millard Fuller Legacy Build, which will be held October 8-13, 2023 in Opelika, Alabama. Fuller Center President David Snell says it would mean the world to Roberts for there to be a strong contingent of volunteers signing up for the build.
