Poverty housing is a serious issue, but combatting the problem also can be serious fun. Groups from colleges, churches, high schools, businesses and clubs have cemented internal bonds and fomented lasting friendships across the nation and the world by working at Fuller Center for Housing covenant partner sites. Globally, places like Peru, Nigeria, Armenia, El Salvador, Haiti and more welcome groups to come build with partner families. For those who prefer to stay a little closer to home, you can visit and work in places like Hammond, La., near jazzy New Orleans; Tabernacle, N.J., in the green section of New Jersey that lives up to "The Garden State" moniker; or beautiful and historic Americus, Ga., headquarters of The Fuller Center and birthplace of the world’s affordable housing movement.
