Annual Fuller Center Conference coming to Indianapolis Jan. 24-25
Fuller Center for Housing President David Snell has announced that the annual Fuller Center Conference will be hosted by The Fuller Center of Central Indiana in Indianapolis Jan. 24-25, 2014.
The event was formerly known as the Fuller Center Covenant Partner Conference but has expanded to include classes, information and networking opportunities valuable to all volunteers and supporters, not just those directly related to running a local covenant partner.
Those interested in leading or joining Global Builders trips, partnering with The Fuller Center on build projects, enhancing leadership skills or expanding faith-based efforts will find the conference particularly valuable — not to mention the conference always offers a lot of laughs, smiles and hugs.
Covenant partners, of course, will find plenty of information at the conference in such areas as family selection, recruiting volunteers, fundraising and communications.
By taking the 2014 Conference to Indianapolis, The Fuller Center will be able to shine a spotlight on a wonderful story of community transformation — Fountain Square. Fountain Square was once one of the most dangerous and dilapidated parts of the city. That was before The Fuller Center got involved. The area was host of the 2010 Millard Fuller Legacy Build and has been utterly transformed into a great place for families to live. In fact, the crime rate has fallen 70 percent since The Fuller Center began work there.
Mark your calendars today to join us Jan. 24-25 in Indianapolis. Registration is now open!
