When Millard and Linda Fuller launched The Fuller Center for Housing in 2005, they used the opportunity to return the simple, grass-roots, Christian principles with which they had launched the world’s affordable housing movement decades earlier — principles they honed while working alongside theologian Clarence Jordan at Koinonia Farm in Sumter County, Georgia.

Though Millard passed away in 2009, Linda has said that those four years of getting back to the basics of his Theology of the Hammer were some of the happiest years of his life, and Millard worked to help families have simple, decent places to live until his very last day on this Earth.

We remain true to our founding principles today, 20 years later, for a very good reason — because they work!

We invite you to continue growing with us as we spread God’s love across the United States and around the world by putting faith into action in tangible, uplifting and empowering ways that change the lives of families and provide hope for their children and future generations.

Your support, generosity, time and prayers have allowed us serve thousands of families, but there is much work left to do. Together, we will keep practicing the Theology of the Hammer and Building a Better World, One House at a Time.

United in Faith, Compassion, and Hope,
