IN THE NEWS: Less than a week after grounbreaking, family moves into new home


(The Desert Trail) Some 58 hours after ground was broken, disabled Navy veteran Lloyd Tilch, his wife, Debbie, and their grandson, Cody, were presented the keys to their new house during a heartfelt ceremony in front of the Serrano Drive home late Sunday afternoon, Nov. 16. More than 100 volunteers put in time constructing the home from the ground up for the family that will receive the house and an interest-free mortgage after being selected by the Desert Communities chapter of The Fuller Center For Housing.
