Student Builders

"The future of this movement lies with the young people.” – Millard Fuller

A Call to Action

Students are inheriting a world with more than a few problems. People living in shacks of cardboard or tin. High foreclosure rates. Deteriorating housing for America’s seniors. Lack of understanding between nations and cultures.

When the situation seems beyond any hope, we have two options: sit back and hope "someone" does something about it, or get out and begin to change the world! One shovel, one nail at a time.

Fuller Center Student Builders are a network of committed youth partners from various colleges, universities, churches, and schools who are a part of The Fuller Center’s mission and ministry. Together we can bring hope and the light of Christ to dark or neglected places.

So get out and hammer some nails, say a prayer, make new friends, ride a bike, raise a wall, travel overseas, create fundraisers, and join our movement.

Will YOU be the one to answer the call to get it started at your school or youth group?

Our Mission and Purpose

Student Builders walk the talk and “Build on the Rock!” because we believe showing true faith in Jesus means turning his love for us into action for others (Matthew 7 & 25).

Fuller Center Student Builders seek to build

  1. each other up in Christ.
Building up each other, our partner families, and our communities in the love of Christ.
  2. support.
Raising money, speaking with local leaders, recruiting volunteers, and garnering gifts-in-kind.
  3. homes.
Volunteering on local worksites or traveling to work on a project elsewhere in the United States and abroad.
  4. awareness.
Getting the word out about the enormous need and all the ways people can help
