Bike Adventure Blog

What a day! I got to be God and help God – all on the same day.

I was so excited to roll into Americus two days ago and see where it all began! It, of course, was Millard and Linda Fuller’s vision of providing simple, decent, homes for people around the globe. What could be a more fitting way to spend our time in Americus than to volunteer on a Fuller Center worksite? This was no ordinary build day!

Beverly Black is the Fuller Center's Director of Donor Development. She's been planning a huge shindig for the Bike Adventure's finale in New Orleans. Check out the details here.

I can’t tell you how excited I was to join up with the Bike Adventure gang for the day and the 75-mile ride from Macon to Americus. The ride was hot and I only had 10 days to train.

Those bikers are fast! They can ride 80 miles in half a day! I wonder if we can earn any prize money by entering them in some cycling races? Somebody…check it out. The cyclists left the wonderful Fuller Center Covenant Partner in Louisville, Ga. early this morning and headed for Macon.
